Sanford E. Warren Jr. is a highly regarded intellectual property partner at Warren | Rhoades in Texas, recognised for a career spanning patent prosecution, complex IP litigation, trademark portfolio management, and entertainment law. He holds a J.D. from Tulane University Law School, earned in 1987, and a cum laude B.S. from Millsaps College, and has been licensed in Texas and registered as a patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since that year. Sanford E. Warren Jr. serves clients across manufacturing, medical device, semiconductor, telecommunications, aviation, chemical, health, retail, and entertainment sectors, prosecuting large patent portfolios and conducting enforcement proceedings before district courts, administrative tribunals, and the USPTO. Prior to his current role, Sanford E. Warren Jr. served as intellectual property counsel for American Airlines and led the Intellectual Property Group at Gardere Wynne Sewell, experience that informs his pragmatic, commercially grounded approach. He has co-authored material published in the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and has been recognised by Super Lawyers, alongside fellowships with the Dallas Bar Association Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation.
