back to 2006, right after the adoption of the IP law, paving the way for effective enforcement of IP rights in Vietnam, we successfully conducted an enforcement campaign against fake zipper products counterfeating the famous Japanese trademark YKK, leading to the sea of a huge quantity of counterfeits. It was one of the first ever largecale anti- counterfeating campaigns conducted in the country at the time. And in 2011, we won one of the most notorious court cases at the time for the Korean giant Samsung

against the Vietnamese domain name Squatter. This was the first domain name case ever brought to the Vietnamese court marking a milestone in the history of the Vietnamese judicial system for the enforcement of IP and IT laws. Then in 2014, we obtained a favorable outcome for an American client, the owner of the trademark USN logo. in another remarkable case which is the first administrative lawsuit against the Vietnam Vietnam Ministry of Vietnam Ministry of Science Technology regarding a trademark dispute. And in 2018, we successfully represented

another American client in a court case against a Taiwanese screw manufacturer who filed in bad faith an obligation for registration of the client’s screw invention. And this is the first lawsuit over the right to register the patent ever settled in Vietnam, which subsequently resulted in the client’s successful opposition proceeding at the VN IPO.

From 2019 to 2022, we successfully obtained administrative sanctions against a series of infringements of our American clients famous trademark Neutrogena for cosmetics committed by some Vietnamese infringers via their online sales platforms and the domain name neutrogena.com.vn Vienn [snorts] and as a selected local attorney since 2023, we have been assisting Korean corporate clients in a number of enforcement projects in Vietnam. And last year in 2024, we successfully enforced the trademark rights for a famous Korean client obtained penalties imposed on six drugs dealers and selling

counterfeit Jun Wan Jang Jinseng products at a pharmaceutical distribution hub in Hanoi by coordinating with local economic police conducting in-depth investigations and well planned rates. And this year is another busy year for our litigation team. Along with the intensified national campaign against the counterfeits and infring IP infringers initiated by the Vietnamese government, we are assisting various clients from Vietnam and other countries such as Korea, Switzerland, US and in finalizing a large number of important investigations rates on counterface and enforcement of trademark and design
