Yasuchika Fukuda is a partner at Miyake & Partners with a professional focus on cross-border international business matters, antitrust, M&A and litigation. Fukuda’s career combines academic scholarship and international practice: after completing legal education in Japan, Fukuda qualified as a lawyer in Japan and subsequently expanded practice credentials by gaining admission to the New York bar. Fukuda has worked in both Japanese and U.S. legal environments, including a period of employment at a U.S. law firm in Los Angeles, bringing practical experience on transpacific transactions and dispute matters. Fukuda’s role within Miyake & Partners includes leadership of the firm’s cross-border practice, where Fukuda handles complex multi-jurisdictional transactions and regulatory matters. In addition to private practice responsibilities, Fukuda has maintained strong ties to academia and legal education.
