Subodh P. Deo, Partner, KBD Partners, is a former Additional Director General of the Competition Commission of India. A former civil servant of the 1990 batch, Subodh has rendered 23 years of distinguished service with the Government of India, before voluntarily demitting office in 2013 to pursue his passion for competition and other laws at the bar. His practice spans all aspects of Competition law, including Mergers & Acquisitions, anti competitive agreements, abuse of dominant position, leniency, commitments, settlements, competition training & compliance, competition audits, etc.
