[music] Hi, my name is MK Castillo. I’m a panameanian lawyer. I’m a master at procedural law and LLM graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I’m a partner at JMC and Associates or MSA Associates in Spanish.

We do criminal law litigation via ordinary courts or litigation via arbitration, consulting in moneying regime, compliance and asset recovery. We have a value based approach to our services, honesty and excellence in everything we do in our advice and our delivery. We have deep knowledge of our forum. The JMC team was built from former prosecutors and court officials.

We also accompanied the client in the off strategies, evidence gathering, negotiations and aiding in their personal needs such as talking to the families. We are also English speaking criminal specialists which is oftentimes very difficult to find in Panama.

So I’ll say we have a very unique offering in terms of our forum. We typically engage with high network individuals and families in the midst of commercial battles, national multinational companies that are in highly competitive industries that need special compliance with the money laundering regime for example. We also engage former heads of states and similar highranking members of government and also shareholders that are in the midst of corporate battles.

So often times in those very tricky cases where you have the odds against you, let’s say, we do come in and try to level the playing field. We like to keep the privacy of our clients as a principle, but we have successfully represented companies in criminal cases, arbitration, and administrative processes against the state mainly and recover assets exceeding tens of millions of dollars.

We have successfully defended a poor high-profile individuals that were being falsely accused and prosecuted via media conglomerates and the powers of government. So we are used to being the underdogs. We are used to having you know the media misrepresenting our clients and committing those those types of of situations that you know put stress on prosecutors and judges. So, we know, as I said before, how to level the playing field and how to deal with those complicated situations, and we’re very proud of the results that we’ve gathered
