Hi, my name is Hamish Gettis and I’m the managing director of Source Projects. we help contractors and principles deliver construction projects primarily from conception through all the way through to disputes. We’re a little bit different in that we don’t have billable hours at source projects and we’re a retainer based service where we work with clients from the conception to disputes and we work in a proactive manner. So we’re not actually on call or reactive. We actually engage on the contract with contractors and with principles the

whole way through the project to ensure issues are resolved before they become big issues and in particular that the contract is compliant and complied with by our parties. So that’s primarily what we do. So most of the work that we do is with contractors and they’re often delivering anything from a small $5 million job where they might be building a a service center all the way up to hund00 million projects where they’re de developing and de delivering roads and bridges and

major infrastructure projects. we work with clients throughout the whole project life cycle. So, I’ve been involved in some really interesting matters including some pretty significant resolutions on on major infrastructure projects including for example Sydney Metro. we work with a contractor there and resolved a matter before before it got to court which was significant and also had multiple matters in in the Supreme Court of New South Wales where I’m based and also recently a court of appeal matter which

was in our favor for a major defects dispute. So, That’s a difficult question in that some of the most major and interesting and pivotal cases or or issues or matters or things that we’ve dealt with are not necessarily on the record. on the record recently had a New South Wales Court of Appeal matter go in our favor which was quite significant and had a lot of press in a matter called CRO and Owners Corporation which was very interesting. but otherwise a lot of

the life highlights and work highlights have been working with really great teams, great clients, helping them deliver things and and and have a good outcome rather than necessarily a lot of legal type work that might be in the papers. So that’s generally what I pride myself on and in terms of making sure our clients get a great outcome.
