Edwin H.J. Slager graduated in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam in June 2003. He initially gained several years of experience working at a major legal-expenses insurance company. In 2007, he became an attorney at Schuit Polak Van den Hout Advocaten and was promoted to partner in 2013. Since November 2017, he has been in partnership with attorney Van Emstede, jointly running a specialized nautical legal practice till the summer of 2025. Edwin is known for his tenacity in defending his clients’ rights and interests.
