Varoujan Avedikian has been the Managing Partner of Andersen in Armenia since 2018. He has more than two decades of experience in banking, capital markets, and insurance law, as well as financial regulation and public policy. Prior to his role at Andersen, Avedikian served as the General Counsel of the Central Bank of Armenia for 12 years (2006 – 2018). During his tenure, he spearheaded numerous far-reaching reforms within Armenia’s financial sector.
Varoujan Avedikian specializes in corporate, commercial, and financial transactions. His practice areas include corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business and financial regulation, venture, and private equity financing. He is particularly adept at handling complex financing transactions and regulatory matters.
Varoujan Avedikian holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard Kennedy School. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from both Boston University and the University of Leicester. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Nicosia.
