Tom Combrink

Tom specialises in South African VAT. He has a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Stellenbosch and practiced as a VAT specialist at two of the Big 4 accounting firms for 10 years prior to joining Renmere in 2013. Tom has previously also worked for the South African Revenue Service as a VAT auditor. Tom’s clients include institutional investors, large corporates and SMEs within a variety of businesses and economic sectors and his focus areas include VAT advisory, technical opinions, reviews, ruling submissions, training and due diligence. His industry experience in includes financial Services, short term insurance, mining, retail, tourism and travel, education and non-profit organisations.
