Simbarashe Murondoti

Simbarashe Absolom Murondoti is the senior partner of Absolom & Shepherd Attorneys. He has vast experience in corporate and commercial law cases, both in litigation and transaction advisory. He has worked on a number of high value multi-million dollar mandates of diverse nature. Part of his past work includes the recovery of 38 million Yuan (5.6 million USD) in a multi-jurisdictional complex investment dispute. He has also advised a superior court in Europe (Dresden) on Zimbabwe’s currency laws. Apart from his gravitas in corporate law matters, Simbarashe is a renowned authority on cybersecurity and technology law, having authored the nation’s first academic commentary on cybersecurity law. He also drafted the Information Communication Technology & Cybersecurity Guidelines for the Law Society of Zimbabwe, which are applicable on all legal practitioners in Zimbabwe.
