Robert Gielisse

Robert is a partner and has been working at Pact advocaten since June 2023. Robert was a lawyer at De Brauw Black Stone Westbroek and Norton Rose Fulbright from 2009 to 2013 and later, in 2021, at the law firm he formerly owned, Eagles Law. In the meantime, Robert has been General Counsel and director of the HR software company Visma|Raet.

Thanks to his management experience, Robert has a perfect sense of what the client needs. He is able to look beyond the legal aspects of a question. In his practice, Robert assists a wide variety of clients, with a focus on SME companies, private equity firms, CEOs and managing directors who also are majority shareholders (DGAs). Robert is committed, a go-getter, highly accessible, and always there for you when you need him.

Robert is a specialist in the field of corporate law, particularly in cases of collaborations/joint ventures, takeovers and shareholder disputes. Robert’s background also makes him specialised in IT law, including advice on software licenses, SAAS solutions, IT disputes and privacy. He has also completed two courses in that field: the Certified Data Protection Officer course at Outvie (Summa cum laude) and the Computer Law Specialisation Course at the Grotius Academy (Cum laude).
