Ritza Almengor Afú, joined the firm in 2001 and lays the foundations for the restructuring of the
Regulatory Affairs Unit, leading the multicultural and multidisciplinary team of Panama, Central America and Colombia, nowadays.
She has solid knowledge in the legal technical-administrative regulatory field, applied to the various categories of products: food and beverage, food supplements, cosmetics and hygienic, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, among others.
Ritza stands out for its ability and skill to perform in highly complex matters, both in professional advice, and in defending the interests of clients before the relevant authorities. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Customs, from the University of Panama (2003), and is a Regulatory Specialist, with experience in obtaining, renewing and modifying Health Regulations, Transfers and Assignments, Nutrition Labeling Review, Health Licenses and Operating Permits, Technical Training of Requirements and Regulatory Processes, among others.
Ritza is a member of the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture and AMCHAM Panama.
