Peter Archie is a partner in Perkins Coie’s business practice. Mr Archie’s undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina. He graduated cum laude from Duke Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to the bar in Oregon and Washington.
Mr Archie has a broad range of experience advising developers, equity sponsors, operators, lessees, equipment suppliers and credit providers involved in domestic and international projects.
He draws on more than 30 years’ experience in such industries as independent power production (wind farms, hydro, gas fired and geothermal facilities), manufacturing plants (including alternative fuels) and infrastructure projects.
His experience includes workouts and restructurings of leveraged lease project financings of geothermal plants in California and Nevada. He also supervises the firm’s due diligence teams for projects in the Pacific Northwest to assure project compliance with zoning, water, air, permitting, endangered species, environmental and related requirements under the laws of Oregon and Washington.
In addition to project experience, Mr Archie’s practice includes other asset-based financing work, principally aircraft transactions.
