Kay K.W. Chan

Experience

Kay K.W. Chan holds a balanced practice in criminal law, civil law, and public law. In criminal law, he has handled cases from every day crime to white collar frauds and corruptions, from industrial and construction site accidents to the 2019 riots and national security cases. In civil law, his experience covers personal injuries, divorces, international sales of goods, employment contracts, corporate disputes, and probate issues. He is equipped to handle complex multidisciplinary matters involving cross-border commercial, corporate, and family relationships.

Particular Interests

Kay K.W. Chan takes particular interests in family law especially cases involving children. He is recognized for his work in collaborative law and acts as a family mediator in matters concerning relationship breakdowns, including Hague Convention cases. He is also trained in private financial adjudication.

Education

Kay K.W. Chan graduated from City University of Hong Kong School of Law and was on the Dean’s List.
