Wang Kai joined JunHe in 2016 and specializes in foreign direct investment projects and cross-border M&A transactions. This includes the design of transaction structures, drafting transactional documents and negotiations and providing legal advice in relation to industrial policies. Mr. Wang’s practice focuses on the automotive, medical, elder-caring, petrochemical and public transport industries.
Mr. Wang started his professional career with an internship at the Fourth Civil Forum of the Supreme People’s Court of the PRC. Before joining JunHe, he worked at Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Beijing office for six years.
In 2020 and 2021, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific recognized him as a Rising Star and a Recommended Lawyer (2021) in the areas of corporate and M&A.
Education
Mr. Wang graduated from the law school of the University of International Business and Economics in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Laws in International Economic Law.

Admitted to the Chinese Judicial Professional Qualification in 2011, and has obtained the license to practice as a professional lawyer.
