Professional Qualification
He studied at Dalian Maritime University where he got his B.Sc. degree in nautical science. The eleven years’ experience of serving onboard ships, including three years as a master mariner aboard ocean-going vessels enables him always to be keen-eyed in case-handling. He can promptly grasp the gist of a case within the shortest time and make the turning point glitter even in an unfavorable circumstance.
He started practicing in maritime law in 2000 and has dealt with almost 400 maritime cases. He specializes in collision, bill of lading and charterparty, marine insurance, cargo damage, salvage and wreck removal, oil pollution, shipbuilding and repairing, ship sale and purchase, general average, smuggling, personal injury. Also, he is adept with a series of special maritime procedures, covering preservation of properties (arrest of ships and cargo concerned), preservation of maritime evidence, maritime injunction as well as constitution of limitation fund for maritime claims, etc. Serving clients in a wholehearted and down-to-earth manner is his working principle.
He has abundant experiences and rich practicing skills in dealing with large-scale comprehensive disputes, such as ship’s collision and oil pollution. He successfully dealt with a lawsuit of chain collision among four vessels, which has significant impact at that time.
