Jacquiline Aturinda

Jacquiline is an Associate Partner at Birungyi, Barata & Associates specializing in Taxation, and Consultancy. She heads the firm’s Research and training department.
Experience
Her expertise includes, filing tax returns and objections, representing taxpayers before the Tax Appeals Tribunal, tax advisory and consultancy, company secretary services among others. She is a registered Tax Agent with URA.
She has participated in the firm’s consultancy assignments for various clients including; the East African community – Customs Interconnectivity Study, GIZ – Harmonization of EAC Domestic Tax Laws, World Bank – institutional Assessment of revenue administration agencies and related frameworks in Uganda; Improving Domestic Revenue Mobilization, Malawi Revenue Authority – taxation of the Informal Sector and Liberia Revenue Authority – drafting Regulations and Practice Notes for domestic tax and customs laws
