Eileen Jaiyoung Shin

Eileen Jaiyoung Shin is a member of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group, specializing in the areas of general corporate matters, commercial transactions and healthcare industry regulatory compliance. She has extensive experience in advising clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, tobacco and food industries on regulatory compliance and corporate transactional matters.  In addition, with respect to the pharmaceutical industry in particular, Ms. Shin regularly advises multinational clients on new drug pricing and after-launch life cycle management with the firm’s active market access team.

Ms. Shin is also a member of the Antitrust Team with experience in competition law matters including merger control, abuse of dominance and unfair trade practices.

Prior to joining Lee & Ko, she was an associate at the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP and the New York office of Coudert Brothers LLP.

She also has experience practicing in Southern California providing general corporate and venture capital financing advice to startups across various industries including medical device and functional food products.

Ms. Shin is a member of the New York State Bar since 2005 and a member of the California State Bar since 2018. She received her B.B.A. in finance (with highest distinction) from the University of Iowa and received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
