The global AMERLLER Technology and Telecoms practice, chaired by Dr. Volker Schmits LL.M., assists telcoms, cable TV operators and tech/media investors in all legal questions relating to strategic and operational aspects. In particular Volker Schmits acquired in-depth knowledge of technical infrastructure projects combining media- and telecommunications law (transmission technology, frequency coordination, channel allocation, DRM/DAB, WIMAX, IPTV).
Via its own offices in Bagdad, Erbil and Basra AMERELLER has since many years been active in telecom projects both on an investment and tender level.
