Christine Miles

Christine Miles has been a French-qualified lawyer since 2005. She has been practicing for 10 years in the People’s Republic of China. Before joining DeHeHeng (DHH) Law Firm, she was a lawyer at Paris and Beijing offices of an international law firm originated in France.
In China, she advises foreign companies for their investments in China (M&A, setting-up of companies, joint-ventures, due diligences, restructuring, financing, intellectual property, litigation/arbitration, assets search, regulatory analysis, data compliance). She has also developed a specific practice in TMT, ICT and new technologies related legal matters as well as MedTech and regularly advises tech companies in their legal matters. Her area of practice also covers foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for their entry and activity in China.
She also advises Chinese companies for their investments in Europe or Africa, on any legal matter related to their investment.
When exercising in France, she specialized in M&A and privatizations involving listed or non-listed companies and corporate law, especially in the energy, infrastructure, and banking. She participated in acquisitions, privatizations and restructuring transactions involving state-owned companies, special status enterprises and concession companies and has good knowledge of processes of sales through tender offer, both public and private, and of cooperation agreements (cooperation and joint venture contracts, shareholder agreements, and data-room processes).
She is used to advising clients for their cross-border operations, from advising them at the very inception of their project up until its implementation, and on the day-to-day operation of the investment or litigation/arbitration.
Christine is an arbitrator at the Qingdao Arbitration Commission and Weihai Arbitration Commission and an elected member of the Board of French Chamber of Commerce in China.
