About Ceyda Akbal Schwimann
Ceyda Akbal Schwimann specializes on commercial and corporate disputes, investments, and investment protection disputes. She advises major international groups and private clients in their investments as well as in their disputes against private parties, states, and state entities.
Ceyda has many years of experience in representing multinationals before state courts. She also regularly acts as counsel in international arbitration proceedings. She has vast experience in working under the major arbitration rules, for example advising clients in proceedings under the ICC Rules, Vienna Rules, ICSID Rules of Arbitration, as well as in ad-hoc arbitration proceedings.
Ceyda has also extensive experience in corporate M&A, commercial law as well as in real estate law, and she has been providing services in these areas for many years to major international groups.
Before joining our firm as a partner, she worked in leading Austrian and international law firms in Vienna and Istanbul.
