Cem is an expert in shipping law and advises clients, including carriers, freight forwarders and insurers, in cargo claims and disputes under charter parties, as well as on setting up distribution channels or financing matters.
He is an experienced litigator and represents his clients in both state court litigations, as well as in international arbitration proceedings.
Cem speaks and advises his clients in English, German, French and Turkish. He is admitted to the Bar in Zurich and entitled to represent clients before all courts in Switzerland.
Cem graduated from the University of Zürich in 2006. In 2015, he obtained a LLM degree in Shipping Law from the University of Cape Town.
