He graduated with distinction in Law from Rome’s ‘Roma Tre’ Law School and started working in London, specializing in International criminal law and Extradition Law. He returned to Italy, where he worked for prestigious Criminal law firms, gaining Court experience and know-how in advising individuals, public and private corporations in criminal-law-related matters.
Throughout his career he has represented individuals and companies in a large number of criminal proceedings, specializing in the sector of corporate criminal law and of International criminal and Extradition Law. His clients have included members of the sitting Italian government, members of the top management of global conglomerates, highest ranking officials of the Vatican City. He provides ongoing advice and support to domestic and foreign companies on criminal risk avoidance and due diligences and internal audit procedures.
He holds a Ph.D in Criminal Law. Throughout his doctoral studies, and currently, he focused in particular on the issue of the criminal liability of collective entities. He has written a considerable number of publications, both as a scholar and in the general media.
He has been the speaker at numerous conferences in Italy and abroad. He was an assistant teacher in Criminal Law at Rome’s ‘Sapienza’ University and continuously lectures in Criminal Law at Rome’s ‘Luiss Guido Carli’ post-graduation Master programs. He has held lectures at various advanced courses on Criminal Law and is the Founder of a school that successfully prepared hundreds of candidates taking the national Bar admission exam.
