With an LLB from the National Taiwan University Law Department, Fran Wang specializes in antitrust and competition law, as well as corporate inbound and outbound investment planning and restructuring. Fran Wang is currently a partner of Yangming Partners, supervising the firm’s antitrust and competition practice, as well as investment and corporate practices. Fran Wang is the author of Global Competition Law “Getting the Deal Through” Taiwan chapters on Merger Control and Cartel Regulation. Fran Wang has also published several articles related to e-commerce in Taiwan and M&A, including “Taiwan M&A: going into labour” (Asian Financial Law Briefing, Jul/Aug 2002), “Taiwan strives to legislate for the new economy” (International Internet Law Review, June 2000), “Draft bills vie for e-commerce supremacy” (IP Asia, March 2000), “E-commerce and the law” (TOPICS, February 2000) and “Taiwan as a Regional E-commerce Location” (The E-Guide, 2000). Fran Wang is also admitted to practice in Taiwan as a Taiwan trademark and patent agent, as well as a member of American bar Association.
