Xavier Jordana

Founding partner of the firm after serving as Judge for civil, criminal and commercial matters for 8 years. He is currently the Managing Partner of the firm and practices as a lawyer.

A lawyer since 1996, he graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona (Spain) (1983). His professional career in the legal field began in the Courts of Justice of Andorra as Judicial Secretary and later in the Notary Office Marc Vila of Andorra as First Assistant. In 1986 he was appointed Judge of First Instance and Instruction in civil, commercial and criminal matters. In July 1996 he founded the firm.

In the political field, he was Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Environment in the Government of Andorra (2007) and Mayor of Canillo (1984). He has also held positions in various public bodies, such as President and Elected Member of the Andorran National Institute of Finance (INAF), Elected Member of the Governing Body of the Andorran Bar Association, and Elected Member of the Andorran Superior Commission of Finances (CSF).

His career, together with his long experience and training in various fields, both public and private, make him one of the most accomplished lawyers in Andorra, recognised by the most highly-regarded legal directories as one of the leading experts in Andorra. He acts and exercises the profession as a truly global jurist in both public and private law, as well as in the courts, before all jurisdictions and in matters of all kinds, including those of a constitutional nature.

Following on from this extensive public and private experience, Xavier Jordana is currently fully dedicated to and focused exclusively on the practise of law and the management of the firm.
