Vera Lyssiotis

Vera Lyssiotis following her graduation in 1987 from the Economic Section of the Acropolis Gymnasium of Nicosia, with 19 7/12 marks out of 20, attended the UNIVERSITY OF LEICESTER in UK and obtained her LL.B degree with award of Honours Class II (i), in July 1990. She completed her Law studies at the UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL, UK, obtaining her LL.M degree in Commercial Law, in October 1991.

In Cyprus, she worked as a trainee lawyer for the office of the Attorney General and was called to the Cyprus Bar Association in November 1992, ranking 2nd best in her final exams. She then worked in the Law office of Kyriakos Michaelides of Nicosia until 1995, having joined as well in the meantime the Law office of her father Renos Lyssiotis, established in 1955 and the Renos Lyssiotis Trademark Bureau, established in 1961.

In 1993 she became a Partner in the Renos Lyssiotis Trademark Bureau specializing in Intellectual Property. She has written Articles on Copyright Infringement.

From 1996 she runs her own Law office in Nicosia, specializing in Commercial and Corporate Law. Since May 2015 Vera is registered in the Registry of Lawyers Companies of the Cyprus Bar Association, as VERA LYSSIOTIS LLC, under Reg. No. 166.

Apart from her native Greek, Vera is fluent in English and good in the Italian and French languages. Her knowledge in computer is excellent.
