About Thomas Voller
Born in Frankfurt am Main on 14 August 1953, he studied in Tübingen, Göttingen and Geneva before receiving his doctorate at the University of Tübingen in 1983 with a thesis on “Criminal offences created by the state – the right to employ agent provocateurs and the usability of evidence thus produced” (doctrine of entrapment). His legal training included time in the United States and England.
After his admission as an attorney in 1982, he worked for large law firms in Frankfurt am Main before establishing his own practice in 1987. Dr. Voller represents domestic and foreign firms both in and out of court and in all areas of business law including international debt collection. He is authorized to represent clients before all German Local, Regional and Higher Regional Courts.
Dr. Voller has his focus in national and international Commercial and Corporate Law including the respective training as special attorney for these areas of law. In addition, he is also active as mediator in the area of dispute resolution outside of a legal procedure following the respective training as attorney mediator (DAA).
In recent years the professional activity has been focused increasingly on the credit management of the clients. This includes on one side the membership in the Bundesverband Credit Management e. V. (Federal Association of Credit Management e. V.) and on the other side publications like “
Outlines of Debt Collection in Europe” or “Goods Dealer and Money Laundering” which will be published mid 2014.
Dr. Voller is a founder of
EuroCollectNet, the European legal network for debt collection, and since its start in 2008 has been instrumental in the expansion of this network.
