Théo Meylan focuses a large part of his practice on real estate law, both in private law (sales and contractor agreements in particular) and in administrative law (land use planning, building permits and expropriation proceedings); his clients include private or institutional owners as well as developers and contractors. He also acts in contractual and commercial disputes of all kinds, particularly in complex or high-profile cases. He holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Criminal Law and has extensive practical experience in this field. He also represents his clients in criminal proceedings of all kinds and in economic criminal law.
Théo Meylan has worked in leading business law firms, advising and representing mainly a varied Swiss and international clientele (individuals, companies, institutions and private clients). In parallel to his activity as a lawyer, he also served as vice-president of the District Court of La Côte and presided over the criminal court for more than fifty criminal cases. After having been an infantry officer, Théo Meylan is active within the Swiss Military Justice in which he assumed the function of military investigating judge from 2017 to 2021 and is currently a prosecutor, which brings him a varied practice of criminal procedure and investigation work.
