Saar Gershoni

Adv. Gershoni has great experience in all fields of intellectual property and trademarks, and provide strategic advise based on a holistic view of the client’s needs and aims, while identifying the relative advantages that allow for leveraging the knowledge and goodwill for growth.

He has experience in representation and advice to stakeholders of intellectual property, in criminal law and in civil law. Adv. Gershoni specializes in providing strategic advice to companies, from their establishment until they are sold, in addition to enforcement of intellectual property rights before instances such as the Patents and Trademarks Authority, the courts and the customs authorities.

Adv. Gershoni recorded, along the years, many successes and several precedents at the Supreme Court in the field of parallel import and competition law and at the Registrar of Trademarks and Patents.

His clients include Israeli and foreign companies from a variety of fields, such as high –tech, electronics, fashion and clothing, games and toys, gaming, publication, and more.

In 2009, he founded an independent office in the field of trademarks and intellectual property, after working as a senior lawyer during many years at the intellectual property practice at one of the largest law firms in Israel. In 2022, he joined our office.

The Practice engages in advice, registration, licensing, enforcement and management of intellectual property assets – trademarks, copyrights, registered designs and patents. In addition, protection of privacy, internet and computer law, fields interfacing the intellectual property field.

In addition to his daily legal work, Adv. Gershoni is a member of the intellectual property committee at the Israel Bar, the INTA organization – an international professional association for lawyers dealing with trademarks. He lectures at Shenkar College on intellectual property and is often invited to lecture and to be interviewed by the media.

Adv. Gershoni’s book, “Legal Issues in Parallel Import”, was published by Nevo and has been mentioned by the Supreme Court in CA 7934/20 Jafora Tavori Ltd. v. Ben Shlush Import and Export Ltd.
