He also advises on fintech developments and alternative financing structures.
Roman Hager graduated in law from the University of Vienna and completed a master’s degree (LLM) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He obtained a PhD from the University of Vienna.

In addition to his legal practice, he has served as a supervisory board member and as an executive director within a large international banking group, giving him first-hand insight into board-level decision-making, governance, and operational realities of regulated financial institutions.
