Ramzan Ali Sikder

Ramzan Ali Sikder is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, and a Partner and Deputy Head of Chambers at Dr. Kamal Hossain and Associates.

Ramzan has more than 30 years of experience in both corporate matters and litigation. He has advised and represented local and foreign companies and individuals before the Supreme Court and District and Sessions Courts, and has appeared as lead counsel in numerous reported cases involving a broad range of issues including admiralty and shipping, arbitration, corporate, family matters, intellectual property, revenue and taxation, real estate and property, international trade and taxation law.

Ramzan holds an LLB degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh (1991), and an LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of London (2007). He also holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Westminster, London (2008). He was enrolled as an Advocate by the Bangladesh Bar Council (1993), and was permitted to practise before the High Court Division (1997) and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh (2008).

Ramzan is a member of the Dhaka Bar Association and the Supreme Court Bar Association. He was elected as the Treasurer of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
