Raluca Vasilescu

Raluca (BS in Architecture and Engineering Bucharest 1992, Diplome d’Études Approfondies, Rouen University in France, 1993 Canadian Master in Business Administration, Bucharest 1997), is with the firm since the beginning in 1995.  She became a registered trademark attorney in 1996 and a registered patent attorney in 1999. In 1999 and 2000, she attended the EURO-SEAD Course on Patent Drafting organized by Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Proprieté Industrielle (FICPI) in Ottrot-Le-Haut (France). Seven years later, in 2007, she was designated by the European Patent Institute (EPI) to be a tutor for the local patent attorneys for the changes in the European Patent Convention (EPC2000). Raluca is European Patent Attorney since 2003 and European Trademark Attorney since 2007.

Areas of Expertise

She works predominantly on prosecution and enforcement of patents in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering and internet. In trademark and design field, Raluca, although skilled in all the procedures, works in particular on contentious matters pertaining to trademarks and designs, at both the national level and before OHIM. Raluca currently coordinates all the patent, trademark and design procedures in foreign jurisdictions.

Romanian Chamber of Patent and Trademark Attorneys; Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Proprieté Industrielle (FICPI); International Trade Mark Association (INTA); European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA)- member of the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee since 2007 and member of the ECTA Council for 2008-2010. President of Romanian Chamber of Patent Attorneys since April 2013 and Vice-President of Romanian Group of AIPPI since 2009.
