Graduated in law from the University of Milan in 1984.

Member of the Milan Bar since 1989.

He took part in courses on the interpretation of financial statement indices and M&A negotiation techniques at the New York University.

Since 2011 Co-founding Partner and Member of the Management Committee of Grande Stevens Studio Legale Associato, having gained significant professional experience in leading national and international firms.

In the past he was a member of the Executive Committee of Carnelutti Law Firm, Co-managing partner of Bryan Cave LLP, member of the Worldwide Marketing Committee of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and General Counsel and member of the Executive Committee in 1987 of Otis Elevator Company S.p.A.

He carries out his professional activity in the field of commercial law with particular reference to the following sectors:

• private equity;
• asset management;
• governance and generational transitions in companies;
• leveraged and management buyout.

He also practises in commercial and financial law before ordinary courts and in arbitration proceedings.
