Nicola Scannell

Nicola Scannell is the founder of White Poppy Mediation.

She has spent her whole working life supporting people with conflict from many different angles. Having been a barrister, a leader and manager, and overseeing a successful business, she presents a practical and clear-thinking approach to her mediation. Nicola has also sat at board-level and Chaired for many well-established organisations and Governing bodies too

Nicola’s straightforward and to-the-point approach has enabled her to promptly resolve issues concerning many different people in various walks of life. Her exceptional attention to detail allows her to quickly cut through the disputes people are facing and support with sorting a resolution. Renowned as an expert who ‘takes her time to understand an issue’, Nicola employs her knowledge and strong skillsets to achieve the best possible outcome for those she helps.

From working with law firms, to helping individuals in times of conflict and stress she is attentive in her approach to understanding the issues people are experiencing. This will always play a critical role in providing the best solution.

Nicola is a registered mediator with the Civil Mediation Council. She is also a specialist SEN (special educational need) mediator.

Nicola mediates disputes for non-government organisations and for parties within the education sector. She offers mediation in a wide range of business to business, customer to business and employment disputes. She is also experienced in probate and other inter-family dispute resolution.
