Nadia Adnani and her team can be described as driven lawyers with a pragmatic approach and having a good sense of proportion. Within employment law, Nadia and her team specialises in reorganisations and workscouncils.
Nadia is involved in:
- All aspects of employment law.
- Representing both national and international organisations and employees.
- Advising on and guiding reorganisations and works councils.
- Advising and litigating on employee co-determination, individual and collective dismissal cases, workplace privacy and employment contracts (non-compete clause, study cost clause, etc.).
Nadia holds various supervisory board positions: at the National Dutch Youth Education Fund (JEF), at one of the largest trade unions in the Netherlands (CNV) and in several foundations in the cultural sector. She also participates in a number of independent complaints committees, including at the Dutch Social Insurance Agency (SVB).
Nadia is one of the founders of the online platform HulpBijReorganiseren.nl, which was created during corona with the aim of helping SMEs get started online with the right information. Nadia also regularly publishes articles and blogs on employment law topics and gives workshops and webinars for which she also once received the Dutch Magna Charta award.
Nadia studied Private Law and International & European Law at VU University Amsterdam. She also did the post-HBO course Strategic HRM in 2019. Before starting as a lawyer, Nadia worked for the VU University-Education Centre as a coordinator in the Diversity and Student Success department. In her spare time, Nadia enjoys being on the tennis court at a competitive level.
