Michel Kallipetis KC has an extensive background in mediation, with over 50 years of experience as a practicing barrister. He has been involved in mediating a wide variety of disputes, including partnerships, banking, insurance, and re-insurance, as well as all areas of employment disputes such as racial and sex discrimination claims and pension rights. His experience also includes mediating construction, engineering, and commercial disputes with claims over several £100m, including referrals from the Commercial Court and the Technology & Construction Court. He has mediated for the ICC and the AAA, and has handled multi-party disputes involving international companies and the laws of other countries. He sat as a Deputy High Court Judge in Queen’s Beach Division, Chancery and the TCC for over a decade.
