Me. Yves Constant Amani

Yves Constant AMANI is Of Counsel and Head of the Advisory Department at CGT-Avocats, where he leads the strategic advisory practice in business law, investment structuring, and project finance.

A senior international business lawyer with more than fifteen years of experience in West Africa, he advises multinational corporations, development finance institutions, commercial banks, industrial groups, investors, and sovereign entities on the structuring, securing, and implementation of complex operations in Guinea and across the OHADA region. His practice notably includes:

• Legal structuring of investments (joint ventures, PPPs, SPVs, restructurings)
• Project finance in the mining, energy, infrastructure, and telecommunications sectors
• Mergers and acquisitions and strategic due diligence
• Corporate governance and regulatory compliance
• Contract management and negotiation of cross-border transactions
• Legal risk management and mitigation in multi-jurisdictional environments

He holds an LL.M. in International Business Law (University of Cumbria, United Kingdom) and is currently completing a Certificate in OHADA Arbitration (ERSUMA), combining international academic training with strong operational experience.

In addition to his transactional practice, Yves Constant AMANI has developed expertise in arbitration and strategic commercial litigation, particularly within the OHADA arbitration framework and in recognition and enforcement strategies for arbitral awards. He advises on procedural strategy and coordinates counsel in high-stakes financial disputes.

He enjoys consistent international recognition, including:

Within CGT-Avocats, he leads the Advisory Department, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and structures the firm’s most complex operations. His approach is distinctly business-oriented and focuses on securing investments legally, aligning legal strategies with financial and operational objectives, and proactively preventing and managing regulatory risks. Fully bilingual in French and English, he regularly operates in international contexts involving Anglo-Saxon investors and multilateral financial institutions.
