Maria Ahmad works on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters with a strong focus on litigation and dispute resolution. She has represented major domestic and international clients in commercial matters across sectors, most notably in the aviation, construction and engineering, banking and finance, information technology and telecommunications, energy and infrastructure, and transport industries. She is also routinely sought for regulatory compliance and employment related advice.
In addition to co-leading the litigation practice, Maria has advised and acted in commercial arbitration matters for the firm. She also brings a diverse and extensive understanding of constitutional, financial crime, and civil law matters from her experience with the offices of the Additional Attorney General for Pakistan and the Advocate General of Sindh.
