Mame Adama Gueye

Mame Adama Gueye, managing partner, is a specialist in mining and petroleum law, taxation and project financing.
Mame Adama Gueye was President of the Senegalese Bar Association from 2008 to 2010. Mame Adama Gueye is also the founder and former President of the Civil Forum, the Senegalese section of Transparency International.
He has been a member of the Senegalese Bar Association since July 1982 and holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in law and judicial practices, business law and taxation. He also holds a Diploma of Legal Counsel (DJCE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Since 2003, Mame Adama GUEYE has been individually ranked as one of the best business lawyers in Senegal. He has extensive experience in cross-border transactions, being recognized for his particular expertise in the energy sector. He has a wealth of experience in advising on project finance transactions and is recognised as one of the most prominent figures in the Senegalese legal market.
After having founded and managed since 1994 the law firm Mame Adama Gueye & Associés (MAGA), he will found in April 2021 the law firm Mame Adama Gueye & Partners (MAGP) in association with the members of the MAGA team who made his international reputation.
