Makiko Yamamoto

Makiko Yamamoto is a partner at TMI Associates .  She received an LL.B. from Keio University and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge.  She is qualified as an attorney-at-law in Japan and as a solicitor in England and Wales.  Her practice areas include corporate, M&A, and commercial matters, especially with intellectual property aspects, and she works mainly on cross-border matters for both Japanese and non-Japanese clients.  She became qualified as a solicitor and practised at a major global firm in England for a few years before returning to TMI.
