Advised McCalls Limited in bringing judicial review proceedings before the Court of Session in Scotland against Aberdeen City Council which raised a novel point of law about the statutory duties of roads authorities which had not previously come before the Court. The issue was the extent to which the interests of adjoining properties to the road need to be taken into account.

Appeared for the Falkland Islands Government as advocate at trial before the Supreme Court in the successful defence of a claim made by Geophysical Service Incorporated relating to alleged rights in seismic data and the exploration licensing regime in the Islands.

Advised and represented the directors and shareholders of a downhole technology business in a dispute with fellow shareholders and directors which was successfully resolved at mediation.

Represented a former director of a technology business in the defence of a claim for breach of fiduciary duty arising from alleged failure to prevent bribery including acting as solicitor-advocate on his behalf in the commercial court of the High Court in London.
