Jari Sotka is an AttorneyatLaw (LL.M.) and MBA with more than a quarter of a century of
experience in business law. He has practised since 1997, advising companies and
organisations on complex corporate, commercial and disputerelated matters in Finland and
internationally.

Legal in 2025, he worked as an attorney with AttorneysatLaw Amos, as a lawyer and partner
at Almgren & Sankamo, and earlier as the owner of his own law firm, Asianajotoimisto Jari
Sotka. He began his attorney career at Krogerus & Co. in the late 1990s. This path has given
him broad insight into different client industries, firm cultures and ways of structuring legal
services for businesses.
His educational background supports this businessoriented approach. Jari holds a Master of
Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and an MBA from the Helsinki School of
Economics, complemented by business studies at Vienna University of Economics and
Business. He has also completed the Finnish Bar Association’s mediator training, giving him
an additional qualification in mediation and strengthening his ability to guide parties towards
negotiated solutions.
