The Firm
Bitter Advocacy is located in the centre of The Hague, the place where the government of The Netherlands has its seat. All work is done or managed by sole practitioner Jan Willem Bitter, a member of the Dutch bar since 1983. Being a sole practitioner has the advantage for clients that all contacts with the firm are with the partner in charge himself, and all work is done or managed by one single person. In complicated matters, other lawyers or specialists may be sought on a case by case basis in order to ensure such excellent services as the clients will require. Jan Willem Bitter’s extensive national and international network allows him to seek ad-hoc assistance wherever and whenever required. The firm is also available to assist other lawyers in matters where his expertise is required. The firm has no third-party account.
