About Irvin Titus
Irvin practised as a State Prosecutor from January 2001 until January 2002, whereafter he commenced his clerkship with the firm Dammert & Hinda Inc.
Irvin was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of Namibia in April 2003 and joined Koep & Partners in January 2004. He was invited to join the partnership in 2008.
Irvin’s area of practice focuses on oil and gas law, both up and downstream. He undertakes due diligences in the acquisitions of interests in petroleum licences and has advised multinationals, major and independents and successfully negotiated on their behalf for oil and gas concessions with the Government of the Republic of Namibia. He further attends to the drawing of related corporate and commercial contracts.
Irvin has contributed to publications in the “International Comparative Legal Guide” and “Getting the Deal Through” on topics related to oil and gas regulation in Namibia. Irvin is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Law Society of Namibia.
Irvin also practices dispute resolution and litigation and regularly appears in the High Court of Namibia in matters relating to civil, commercial and corporate litigation.
Irvin is fluent in Afrikaans and English.
