Ignacio is a partner at RSM Spain where he heads the Labor Law and Social Security department in the Madrid office.
During his more than 20 years of professional experience, Ignacio has advised multiple companies, both national and international, in business restructuring processes that have required the adoption of external flexibility measures (collective layoffs) and internal flexibility measures (MSCT, non-application of working conditions, contract suspensions and others.
In the same way, he is a specialist in the defense of his clients before the social jurisdiction at the national level and in labor advice in all types of matters related to Labor Law and Social Security.
He is an associate professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid and a regular speaker at specialized conferences by various institutions (Lefevbre, CEF, APD, etc.) and is the author of the monograph “Labor restructuring: a practical study on flexibility measures in the Company ” (Ed. CEF) and co-author of the work “Social Jurisdiction, comments and Jurisprudence” (SEPIN publishing house)
Ignacio has been highlighted over the years in different international directories (Chambers & Partners, European, 2012 and 2013 Edition), Legal 500 (2012) and Best Lawyers, Spanish edition, from 2019 to 2023, both inclusive.
