Hans-Christian Ohrt has more than 20 years of experience primarily focused on the establishment, purchase, and sale of companies, particularly in the context of M&A transactions both nationally and internationally. He has significant expertise in advising on acquisitions, disposals, and merger control aspects, working closely with a broad range of companies and private equity funds. His career includes roles as partner at Andersen Partners since 1999, general counsel at Bang & Olufsen A/S from 1997 to 1999, and prior positions at Cameron McKenna in London and the law firm Bech-Bruun. Ohrt also specializes in drafting and negotiating loan agreements, including those related to acquisition financing and property projects. In addition, he advises on company law, banking and finance law, securities and capital market law, EU law, and competition law. He holds board memberships in multiple commercial companies and serves as chairman for some boards.

Education
Hans-Christian Ohrt earned his Master of Laws degree from the University of Aarhus in Denmark in 1991. He was admitted to the Danish Bar in 1994 and received the right of audience before the Danish High Court in 1995. In 2011, he completed a board management course held by the Association of Danish Certified Board Attorneys.
