GOZZO was established by the lawyers Örjan Grundén and Giovanni Gozzo, both having unique experience of IP, not least within patent proceedings and arbitration. In the early 1990s, they were joined by Ann-Charlotte Söderlund Björk and a couple of years ago rejoined by Håkan Sjöström, who worked with Örjan Grundén in the 1980s.

GOZZO lawyers are represented on the boards of a number of national and international associations and organisations that contribute to the development of intellectual property law, for example, The International League of Competition Law (LIDC), The Swedish Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (SFIR), The Swedish Anti-Counterfeiting Group (SACG), The Global Anti-Counterfeiting Group (GACG), ECTA and the Society for the protection of Intellectual Property, West Sweden (VIRK).

Our lawyers also participate actively in matters relating to legislation in Sweden and Europe, for example, as experts appointed by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Swedish Bar Association in connection with reviews of the Swedish intellectual law proceedings and on behalf of the Confederation of European Business UNICE in the work of preparing a common European patent proceedings system. Ann-Charlotte Söderlund Björk has been involved for many years in the EU body, the Observatory on Infringements of IPR and its Legal Working Group.
