Dr Allessie Franck Olivier

Franck has a PhD in Law & Political Science from the Université Paris Cité (France). He works in the Projects (Finance, Energy & Infrastructure) business line in France and in the cities of the African continent. He specialises in project finance, particularly as it relates to the energy, infrastructure and transport sectors (ports, airports, motorways, bridges, tramways, etc.) and regularly advise governments, sponsors or lenders on their various projects.

Meanwhile, he possesses extensive experience in foreign investment in the industrial and real estate sectors, particularly in structuring and negotiating complex industrial agreements or contracts for the construction of public or private works in Central Africa and West Africa, as well as the Maghreb (hospitals, universities, shopping centres, cement plants, etc.).

Over the years, Franck has developed a leading expertise in the mining / oil & gas sector, and regularly assists international operators and public entities in French-speaking Africa, Maghreb and the MENA region.

Today, he primarily advises banks and financial institutions on the structuring, documentation and negotiation of complex transactions, financings, refinancings and restructurings. In this area, his specialisations include asset finance and corporate finance, as well as project finance.
