About Dr. David A. Columna
Managing partner of “COLUMNA & ASOCIADOS”. His professional practice has been developed mainly in the areas of judicial and arbitration litigation, corporate and financial law, legal strategy and negotiation planning. With extensive experience in environmental law, mining law, energy law, aviation, business law and experience in litigation processes, Dr. Columna has participated in renowned judicial processes and high-impact commercial projects. In his almost two decades of professional experience, he has developed vast experience advising foreign and multinational companies entering the Dominican market and companies in specialized and highly regulated industries, such as energy, tourism, emerging technologies, mining, transportation, and financial service providers, among other. Perfect level of the English and Spanish languages.
Dr. Columna is an associate member of the international firm Urban Thier & Federer, P.A., which he represents in the Dominican Republic.

The firm COLUMNA & ASOCIADOS was inaugurated in the year 1980, by Dr. José Antonio Columna. It’s a traditional firm whose only interest is to provide a legal service to its clients. Now our firm is under the direction of Dr. David A. Columna, J.D., attorney at practice with more than 15 years of professional experience, expert in the branches further important aspects of law, domain of languages English and Spanish, and main relevance in civil, criminal, commercial, administrative law, arbitration, and real estate law.
