Daniel Książek

Long-standing practitioner and expert in employment and labour law. Daniel Książek has thorough and comprehensive experience in employment litigation. He is a personal legal adviser to Members of Management Boards, Chief Executive Officers and HR Directors of the largest employers in Poland. Furthermore, he acts as a legal consultant for employers’ organizations and trade unions operating in Poland. He is also a Member of Supervisory Boards of equity companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange,

He was listed in the Legal 500 EMEA and Chambers and Partners rankings, and in The International Who’s Who of Management Labour and Employment Lawyers. He was also named among the leaders (2nd place) in the prestigious Rzeczpospolita ranking of law firms for labour law and social security.

He is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University, and a member of the American Bar Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association.

He wrote a doctoral dissertation entitled  “The workplace as an important element of the employment contract”, which was awarded a distinction in the competition for the best Master’s theses and doctoral dissertations in the field of labour law and social policy under the auspices of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy of the Jagiellonian University, and a former associate of the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University. He has authored numerous publications on labour law, including a monograph and templates of legal documents

He conducts legal projects in Polish and English.
